Samsung Galaxy S10 is a massive update to the Galaxy S family. It was released on March 08, 2019 after announcing it on February 20, 2019. The launching price was expensive, more than the Galaxy S9. However, it has been marketing better than the iPhone XS, which has a smaller 5.8-inch screen and more expensive than the Galaxy S10. This latest update to the Samsung Galaxy series is this Samsung Galaxy S10. You and I both know that. I went through some reviews and decided to buy one, and I already did just as I decided. With my own experience, here is my review of Samsung Galaxy S10 for you.
Samsung Galaxy S10 – Performance
Samsung has improved the Galaxy S10 with battery power enhancements. Its battery power now adapts to how and when you are using your phone with new adaptive power saving mode. So now it is possible to use Samsung Galaxy S10 throughout the day with your business work, movies, social media scrolling, and everything due to its all-day intelligent battery power. Samsung has designed a wireless powershare method to Galaxy S10, S10e, S10+, and S10 5G so that you can charge Qi-certified devices and Samsung wearable devices like a wireless charger. Well, this feature came in very handy when I wanted to power up my friend’s phone, so yes, it’s a cool feature. You can charge your earbuds with this wireless powershare on the go as well.
Thanks to the fast wireless charging, we can charge our Galaxy S10 devices faster than ever even without overheating. The processor of the phone is now one step ahead, so your device won’t be slow down under any circumstances. We are now given up to 12GB of RAM so that it has better performance with less energy. As examples, you can beat your high score on your game, broadcast live or stream videos while running the device smoothly. Galaxy S10 is given more space to store your files, up to 512GB additional storage also with external microSD up to 1.5TB of capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S10 – Design
The best thing about Galaxy S10 device is its size. It measures 149.9 x 70.4 x 7.8mm. It is somewhat large but it’s not that difficult to hold with one-handed. The curved edges on the front and rear help us to feel like the phone is narrower than it actually is. I had no difficulty in activating the Wireless PowerShare feature after turning it on. Could turn it on merely from the settings notification shade. I tested the feature in charging my friend’s Galaxy S10 and my earbuds, also an iPhone XS Max, and all three were a success.
The fingerprint sensor is invisible this time around the front. Unlike the most Android phones that are using back-facing fingerprint, Samsung Galaxy S10 uses the fingerprint sensor in the front-facing just like the iPhones. It feels easier to unlock the device and continue with operations. It uses Qualcomm-backed tech that is better and more security with a 3D scan of your print, plus it works even when your fingers are wet or cold. It works well, though it is not as fast as the optical fingerprint scanner. It seems to be a bit higher failure rate too. So you must precisely do your finger placement and apply a little pressure so it would work.
Samsung Galaxy S10 – Display
Galaxy S10 has a 6.1-inch 19:9 super AMOLED display panel which looks better than any other Samsung devices. And it has been crowned as “the most color accurate smartphone display” already. It has impressively curved edges with pixels that spill over the sides. And yes, it has amped-up brightness so that it is better visible to outdoor, and it has HDR10+ support for color and contrast. The QHD+ resolution of Samsung Galaxy S10 display creates a pixel density of 550ppi and it ensures that everything on the screen is highly detailed. The Samsung Galaxy S10 display is defaultly full HD+, except you’re using it two inches from your face for VR.
